Electrically-Excited Motion of Topological Defects in Multiferroic Materials

چکیده

Topological magnetic defects in multiferroic materials acquire an electric charge or dipole moment due to the inverse Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya mechanism. This magnetoelectric coupling makes possible excite large-amplitude collective motion of topological textures with oscillating field. Here, I discuss excitation a polar optical mode vortex–antivortex crystal and electrically-induced spin precession skyrmion, which gives rise rotation skyrmions around each other translational skyrmion–antiskyrmion pairs. The manipulation Mott insulators can find applications memory logical devices.
